A three bowl nest of rare Cuban Mahogany wood recovered from Key West

Three bowl nested, wave rim set

Each
bowl is cut from the remaining center of the larger bowl. I like to use what I call a wave rim. I cut the tops of bowls into interesting shapes after they have been turned. I like to accent grain patterns or other features in the wood when I do this. I feel this gives a very unique and artistic pattern to a functional bowl. The top edges of these bowls were further accented with a color stripe
